Show validationshowif on blur

Using the Form Toolkit I would like to show the validation showif on blur rather than on submit to allow the user to fill in the required fields as they go, rather than go back to the form.

Any ideas?

The validation show if is a server side behavior so cannot be triggered on the client side Blur action.

to show errors on blur, you will need to use Dreamweaver Spry form elements instead of regular HTML form elements.

To add a spry element, go to Insert -> Spry -> and select the Spry Validation lement type to add.
