Reset Admin Username & Password

I just purchased PowerMessenger and set it up successfully via the Installation Wizard.

While I was working on developing my first mailing, I was kicked out and taken to the login page, however when I typed in the username and password I created in the Installation Wizard, I'm getting the message "user name or password is not correct. Please try again.

I know I'm using the correct data because I wrote it down as soon as I created it.

Is there a way to reset the login and password for the admin page?

The Admin username and password is stored in the wa_settings table of the Power Messenger database. you would need to edit the table directly to change the admin username and password.

Where is wa_settings found?

wa_settings is a table in the power store database.use phpMyAdmin or another MySQL GUI tool to access the Power Store Database, in the Power Store database, you will see a table named wa_settings

The only databases I have are:
pm1_audiencefilters
pm1_audiences
pm1_countries
pm1_groupsubscriptions
pm1_mailinggroups
pm1_mailings
pm1_mailing_audience_members
pm1_mailing_links
pm1_regions
pm1_usergroups
pm1_users
pm1_user_clicks
pm_settings

FWIW: When you used to post a reply, I'd get an e-mail but I didn't get one, this time.

In power messenger the settings table is pm_settings

These are in the grp of Site Settings but I can't figure out what to reset. Any clues?

there is a record where the name column is admin_username and another record where the name column is admin_password. the settings for these are in he value column.

I cannot find where that would be. I did a search and got: MySQL returned an empty result set (i.e. zero rows). ( Query took 0.0005 sec )

Is something missing from our database? Is there another workaround?

I searched by name as well as value
