Validation Toolkit 2.3.5 and Form Toolkit 1.0.0

Hi
I have install Validation Toolkit 2.3.5 and Form Toolkit 1.0.0 on Dreamweaver CS5 . They both have ValidationTool. Do I have to uninstall one of them or they can work all together?

Thank you in advance!

you cannot have both installed at the same time.

You should first uninstall both Validation Toolkit and Form Toolkit, then reinstall the newer form toolkit.

Thenk You for the answer.
But have Form Toolkit 1.0.0 Client Validation Wizard in it, or not?

No, client validation is not included in Form toolkit.

In reality, Client validation is very unreliable.
Since it relies on javascript to run it is very easy for a hacker to disable validation by turning off javascript in the browser.

if you need client side validation, use the Dreamweaver Spry Validation. But make sure to also apply server validation which cannot be disabled by turning off javascript.
