Universal Email Bug DW Edit Option

Universal Email Bug DW Edit Option

If I attempt to edit my email template via the DW Edit button inside Universal Email, once I have completed editing and click save and return back to the Universal Email Dialog window, all my settings inside the Universal Email Dialog have been wiped out, and it is no longer attached to the template I just edited - instead it defaults back to "checked" create a file for your email.

Very frustrating?! I have tried deleting MacFile Cache File in the config folder, and I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled CSS Form Builder, and the issue remains.

Please advise how I can use the DW Edit Feature without wiping out all previously setup options.

Using:
CSS Form Builder 2.0.0
DW CS5
Mac OSX 10.6.6

Jason,

I found a solution. I have been messing with it for about 2 hours. Here is the fix:

You cannot have any other DW files open - only the file containing the UE SB and the template itself. If you have any other DW file open at the same time, it will erase your settings in the UE Dialog after tweaking the template.

Thanks for opening the ticket, but I think I have it worked out. Hope this help someone else, or WA in the development of the next version of UE / CSS FB.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I have not been able to reproduce this is in UE4 or CSS Form Builder 2.

I currently have about 20 pages open in Dreamweaver, from about 9 different sites, and others are from support issues on the forum, and using the DW Edit icon in UE is not clearing the settings for me.

I'll continue to experiment to try and find the cause, but I'm glad to hear you have discovered this work around.
