No test or spam test email sent
I tried "Get Spam Report" and "Send Preview" but neither works. When I click the buttons nothing happens. I tried in IE and FF.

Who is your host?
Double check the settings you are using for the SMTP server.
make sure to use a valid email address from your domain for the from email address settings.
you may need to check the Use Additional Email Parameters option in the settings panel to.
We're using GoDaddy, and I have smtp.secureserver.net as the email server. Even when I check the "Use Additional Email Parameters:" nothing happens. And by that I mean the page doesn't refresh, there's no loading bar, nothing. So I thought maybe I was missing a js or php file that was supposed to submit the test email, but I checked and the site has all of the files up there. Anything else you can think of? I'll give you the credentials if you open up a private ticket.
Thanks
here are some updated files that should correct the issue, place them in the webassist/email folder.
there was no webassist folder in the original PowerMessenger zip file I downloaded, is there anything else I need in that folder? When I sent the email it gave me a really weird email message from an email address I've never specified in the setup. It was in this form... username@"a whole string of numbers/letters".secureserver.net. And then there was no preview message below it, just a blank email with no Subject.
the webassist folder is created after you run the install script.
Gotcha, well it's still not working. I mentioned the details in the last post, but the email preview comes from a different email address than the one specified, there is no subject even though I typed one in, and there is no message in the body.
I have created a support ticket so we can look into this issue further.

If anyone else is experiencing this same issue, please append to this thread.
I am having the same problem with a test site setup on Godaddy so I am looking forward to a solution.
I too get the message "An error occured while attempting to send an email to the spam check service. Please check the reply address."
Following this thread I called the hosting company and they confirm that Safe Mode is off.
So now what?
I think (just a guess) that using my SMTP I need to validate with a password when sending through this method.
I went to setup to see about Additional E-Mail Parameters. Only the checkbox works. Nothing happens .. no additional features. I downloaded the program a week ago so if any additional files were needed I assumed they were part of the download. However .. I still checked. All of the files in the Archive zip file were already in the folder (so I did nothing).
Or
The message "Please check the reply address" .. I see a "default email from" but none of the setup fields actually say "reply address". Am I missing a setup field somewhere perhaps?
