Converting HTML Files to PHP for Captcha and Show If Server Validations

Converting HTML Files to PHP for Captcha and Show If Server Validations

I have a number of forms that are .html extensions. I want to add Captcha and Show If Server Validations. Is there a way to convert the .html to .php to add the required elements?

I have tried opening the file in Notepad, Choosing to File, Save As .php, taking off the template elements. When I try to add showif server validations in Form Toolkit, I get the following message:

"making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be be discarded".

Many thanks

I did that, I took off the line as suggested regarding the template, but still get the error.

Form-Contact.php. Looking at the forums it was suggested that Library Items would cause the issue. I have taken off the library item and DW is now allowing me to insert the showif behaviour.

The trouble is, the text shows all the time, an not just when the form is submitted without the correct captcha code.

I have included the url to the file online.

As well as giving you the url, I have attached a text copy.

the form failure is stored in a session variable.

it will be cleared when:
a) The form Submits successfully
or
b) The browser is closed completely to end the browsing session.
