DFP file upload security

I practically have all the web devoloper extensions. I have read in various forums that discourage file upload on a site for visitors/ guests, but encourage for resgistered users.

Does anyone have a solution receipe that could help me make my file upload safe for visitors and guest to use?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Ray,

To be honest i'm not sure. my upload folder permissions are set to 666 in dreamweaver cs3 by default (can't change it). I just assumed spammers could upload rubbish, thats why people suggest you should get visitors to register before letting them upload anything to your site.

Spammers can always upload rubbish or porn. There is no way to secure it other than add moderation and approval process to prevent mal-intented users from being successful.
