PHP Errors

I'm seeing the following errors/warnings in my server's error log file:

PHP Warning: DOMDocument::load() [domdocument.load]: Extra content at the end of the document in /home/altmediaadmin/www/greensboro101.com/htdocs/includes/_promaps_cache/_promaps_geocache.xml, line: 3 in /home/altmediaadmin/www/greensboro101.com/htdocs/includes/google_javascript/promaps_geocache_php.php on line 21, referer: http://www.greensboro101.com/includes/EventsMap.php

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function appendChild() on a non-object in /home/altmediaadmin/www/greensboro101.com/htdocs/includes/google_javascript/promaps_geocache_php.php on line 36, referer: http://www.greensboro101.com/includes/EventsMap.php

Lines 21 and 36 of promaps_geocahce_php.php referenced in the errors are as follows:

21: $dom->load($xmlFile);
36: $geocodeEntry = $root->appendChild($geocodeEntry);

And here is the _promaps_geocache.xml file

<geocode_data version="1.0"><geocode_entry ID="113 N. Greene St. Greensboro NC 27401 U.S.">
113 N. Greene St., Greensboro, NC, 27401, U.S.
<geocode>(36.073109, -79.792041)</geocode></geocode_entry></geocode_data>

How can I eliminate these errors?

Can you please post a link to the page that has the map on it so i can debug the issue further, but looking at the errors that you are seeing, it could be possible that you have a version of PHP that does not support the DOMDocument.

Thanks.

I am running PHP version 5.2.17 with DOM/XML enabled.

The page generating the error is: EventsMap.php

It is being included via i-frame on www.greensboro101.com

Resolved -- Permissions error

Got a call from tech support today. The issue has been resolved. The permissions were too strict on the _promaps_geocache.xml file in the _promaps_cache directory.

Thanks for the help.

I also had this type of problem while running the firebug with Firefox browser.
Can you share the information from Webassist on how to resolve this problem? Thanks

I don't remember the exact settings, just incrementally increase your permissions for the web user on the cache file until you no longer get the error.
