can't activate my CSS Menu Writer

I just tried to activate Css Menu Writer on my computer, and keep getting an error message saying my internet is not working. However, i checked, and my internet is working fine. I think the problem is with WebAssist's server. can this be fixed so that I can use the MenU Writer?

I have been having the same trouble today, trying to activate html editor. I get the same error.
It hangs dreamweaver for a couple minutes, then comes back with that error.

I think they must be having problems, as I couldnt get the forums to load, or the site to load for a while. I even tried through a couple proxies, and still no luck.

I can get in to webassist.com now, and obviously the forums, but I still cannot activate.
There really needs to be an offline method of registration, in case something like this happens.

Hey Guys,

The Support folks are out for the day, but i wanted to jump in and let you know that we have been fighting fires with the whole Amazon Web Services issues that has been affecting a lot of websites all day.

Things seem to be back up and running now, but we are still monitoring things.

interesting. Thanks for the response.
BTW, going to webassist.com gives me a blank white page, however, obviously the forums work.
And YAY! I was finally able to activate HTML editor.

As a web hosting provider, I feel your pain, about putting out fires all day!

Good luck.
