Error Uploading Images

Error Uploading Images

I have made an estate agent website that requires the admin to Upload Images.

I have made a total of 6 upload file fields that are set up to upload images which are displayed on results and detail pages.

Each file field generates two separate images. A large image and a small image of the same upload but to different folders.

The problem is that when I test the system, I can only upload a maximum of three images at a time.

I tested each field separately, and know they work individually.

For some reason, when I upload more than 3 images, the page reloads and does not except it. Posting nothing to the database or uploading any files.

What’s going wrong?

Most likely your exceeding the php post max size setting, or the upload is exceeding the maximum upload file size as set in the php.ini.

there are a few php settings that will effect the maximum size of uploaded files. see the following page for details:
wap_upload.asp?page=php2

Hi,

Thanks for your quick response.

Yes I would agree with you.

However I am not to sure what to do.

I found this code in the helperphp.php

// Need to set errorMessage for all failure types: file size, isImage, image width, image height.
if($fileSizeLimit > 0 && $uploadedFile["size"] > ($fileSizeLimit*1000)){
$WA_DFP_UploadStatus[$statusName]["statusCode"] = 20;
$WA_DFP_UploadStatus[$statusName]["errorMessage"] = "File size of ".$uploadedFile["size"]." exceeded limit of ".$fileSizeLimit."KB";

Is this what I should change?

I don’t want to damage my system so I wanted to ask first

No, you need to edit the php.ini file to change the php settings referenced on the page I linked to.

If you are not sue how to do that, contact your host.
