discounting non sale items only

Hi,
Wondered if you could help me set up my discount formula. I've got a good discounts system working on my cart based on an entered coupon code, however I only want to apply it to items that are non sale. I've set up a column called 'discount' withing my eCart object and passed a value of '1' with each non sale (full price) item and a value of 2 with each sale item. I now want to customise my discount formula to only apply a 10% discount to non sale items, ie where the discount column value = 1, but not to items with a discount column value of 2. Is that possible?

yes, in the trigger section of the discount rule add another trigger:

AND
number of items with a specific column value:
If the total Number Of items where 'discount' has a value of '1' is '>' a value of '0'

for the calculation use:

Based on items with a specific value:
Total of 'TotalPrice' where 'discount' has a value of '1' 'times' '0.10'

That is brilliant - thank you so much - I would never have been able to figure that out on my own - works a treat!
