repeat region and promaps

repeat region and promaps

Hi

This is probably out of scope with proMaps but I thought I'd ask.

Developing a property website and have set up a 2 tab spry panel. 1 panel contains the property listings, which list 10 records per time and the other panel has the promaps.

In the promaps panel I was expecting to see all the properties listed from the search, but it only shows the first 10. If I click next page, it will then obviously show the next 10 and so on. I know its related to the repeat region as such, just trying to find a way of the map showing most if not all properties.

Would I be best setting up another recordset behaviour based on the search results for the proMaps?

Actually thinking out aloud, that is maybe what is needed, would like confirmation however, as when working on your own these forums are the only way of talking to people that know what your on about lol :)

Yes, you need to use 2 recordsets.

One will be used for the paged properties list. The other to be used for pro maps.

When you apply paging to a repeat region, It adds a limit function to the recordset SQL statement so that it will only return the number of records you set per page.

To show all of the records in the map, you need another record set that is not paged.
