Images for Main Links?

Hi,

Can I use individual images for the "main links" using menu writer? For example, if I want an image with a little house on it for the home button, then a question mark for the about us link, but still keep the drop down menus? Could you tell me how to do that via css?

to use an individual image for each link, you would need to edit the menu code after it is created and use an inline style.

for example:
<li><a href="index.php" style="background-image:url(images/mybackground.jpg)">Home Page</a></li>
