Universal Email Not Sending Email on First Submit

I have a universal email form at index.asp. The form is programmed to send an email with field results and submit data to MS Access Database.

The form is submitting the data to the database successfully on every submit.

It is not sending an email on the first submit each time the form is submitted, nor is it going to the confirmation page on the first submit/

The form does send the email everytime on the second and further submits, and is going to the confirmation page on the second and further submits.

Please advise as to why this is not working on the 1st submit, but is working on following submits.

thank you!

it is probably a trigger or code order problem, but I would need to see a copy of the page so II can examine the code to pinpoint the problem.

Send a copy of your page in a zip archive so I can see the code.

try changing the trigger for Universal Email to Any Form Post.

Looks like that is what it was set to already. I triggered it back and forth to end up at 'any form post' and have uploaded the form page and UE folder containing the supporting files.

the code on the page you sent was set to use the Current page submit trigger, not the any form post trigger.

does using the Any Form Post trigger fix the issue?

Where/what page is the code for the trigger? I changed to 'any form post' trigger in the UE interface, and uploaded the form age and the UE folder but it is still doing the same thing of not sending on the 1st submit, but does on sequential submits.

Please let me know what the code should read so I can see if it such that the interface is not changing the code.

thanks!

using the Any Form Post trigger did not fix the issue. Please see my previous post if you have not already viewed for further question
