Shipping calculation

HI I am trying to setup a custom shipping rule.

What I want is the following.
Each product has a field in the DB called 'UkShippingCost'.
I have created a calculation in the calculations in Ecart as follows: [UkShippingCost] * [Quantity]

I have made a shipping rule which is half working so need abit of help.

At present it is working for the first product in the cart, but for additional products its not calculating.

Can you please tell me what I should set in the Shipping Part of Ecart to get it to add all products and the quantities.

What are the settings? Can you display that value as a column in the cart? Is it set properly in each row?

What are the exact settings in your shipping rule that isn't working?

Thats what I need how to make up the shipping rule for this, the column is showing and if I make some calculations it adds up the shipping column for the first product in the cart

What is the calculation name. You would probably make a shipping rule so that if that column total is not zero it would charge the column total as a shipping amount.

Calculation name is TotalShipping

So Shipping Based on the total of the column TotalShipping

Amount: total of the column TotalShipping

There is no option to choose total of the column TotalShipping

Please explain which fields from the drop menu to select etc.

You should be able to choose "Based on column subtotal"
and then choose "totalShipping" from the list provided.

what about the trigger does this have to be set to anything particular?

Not really... use the same thing "Based on column subtotal" and use the subtotal of that calculation > 0
