Error messages when trying to insert a Spry Accordion Panel

I'm playing with CSS Sculptor, trying to learn it.

I am getting the attached javascript error message over and over again when trying to apply a Spry Accordion Panel to my design.

I'm using Dreamweaver CS5, Windows 7 and version 3.0.2 of Css Sculptor.

I'm also attaching the files that is generated by css Sculptor and the particular preset generated from Preset Manager.

Regards
Rune

That is an IE error occurring when it is trying to generate the Preview.

In IE go to Tools -> Internet Options. .On the advanced tab, make sure that the "Display a Notification about Every Script Error" option is unchecked.

I don't think it has something to do with IE settings. "Display a Notification about Every Script Error" is unchecked on my system. See attached picture.

that style of alert box with a javascript error is distinct to IE, it is definitely an error being generated by IE.

Try disabling the preview. Go to Edit -> WebAssist Preferences. in the preview section, check the option to disable the preview.

Has this issue been resolved?

Hi

Just bought and installed the CSS sculpture extension and I have the same problem each time I try to preview the design in browser or when I change between tabs. This only happen when inserting Spry components in the design! Sooo anoying! I have checked Internet Explorer settings and the check for script error option is unchecked. I use Windows XP 32 bit OS and IE8. The fact is I never use IE and my standard browser is Firefox. The error messege appear but the preview opens in Firefox.
Need help to solve this!

Regards,
Martin J.

Solution

The spry accordion files were not located in the place the preview was looking for them. We were able to resolve the problem in a connect meeting by manually copying the files into the location:

/Configuration/Shared/Spry/Widgets/Accordion/

once both the .js and .css files were copied to that location it appeared to start functioning properly.
