IE9 and source code

Hi there,
I notice that when I go the source code using IE9 Browser, I am unable to edit that source code in the latest everion of HTML editor. Di I need to press a button somewhere in IE9 to make it work?
I'd be interest to hear any comment on this matter.
Many thanks
