Powerstore Categories & Sub-Categories

Ok, I have purchased PS2 and upgraded to 3, & 4. I have practiced on some business ideas and am now ready to launch a stock photo site. I installed and have added some products. I deleted some b/c the search wasn't working properly for the categories for some reason. I started over and added another product and highlighted all categories and saved. The products are still not showing up on any of the categories for some reason. I don't want to move forward adding any other products before this is corrected. Can someone help. Not sure what to do to fix the problem.

I also have tried a full new reinstall which has not worked. I am having the same problem with the products not showing up when I do a search for all products or for a specific sub-category.

Also, when I click show all products it only shows one product. I have 2 entered and they are both checked to show on site. When you try to show all products it shows only 1 but also doesn't show the price of the 1 product but the retail price is showing. Is that how it's supposed to be or is the actual price missing for some reason on this page.

Please help. Thanks.

Similar problem

Hi Guys
having a similar problem: Let say I have a product "A" which has simple options of different colours, when searching by the colour, let say "Red" the results are always the top level product ID (the very first simple option displays not the RED colour). Can PS search and display the showing the simple option category a result?
cheers
in advance
scott

Yes, I can view all products under view all products but they are not showing under categories that they are listed under No results for your search

here are updated copies of the webassist/plugins/catalog/results.php and webassist/plugins/catalog/results_grid.php that should fix the issue.
