Products will not update on production server

I installed data assist and got everything working on the testing server. When I put the files on the production server I get an error when I click on update products. Does the htaccess file on the server need to be changed to mod/rewrite? If so, does anyone know what code I should add?

no, data assist does not need mod rewrite to be enabled on the server.

what is the text of the error message? I need to know the error message before I can have any idea on the cause of the problem.

Error Message

When you are on the products_Update page and click update you get this screen.
products_Detail.php?ProductID=1
It all works on the testing server
