Fonts blowing out in email

Fonts blowing out in email

Hello all!

I have a problem where everything looks fantastic in dreamweaver when editing my email receipt in universal email. But when the email reaches an inbox in outlook all of the fonts are blown out. All of the sizes and styles are GONE! The fonts all seem to be intact when I view the receipt in webmail but the same receipt looks trashed when delivered to outlook.

Is there anyway to cure this problem or is this just the nature of outlook?

Thanks for all!

Use inline styles instead of referring to a style sheet and it should work in outlook.

That makes complete sense to me. So it is likely referring back to a style sheet that isn't there and therefore defaulting. I am editing the WAUE file in dreamweaver via the Universal Email server behavior interface within my confirm page.

So...not to sound like a complete itdiot...but is there a way to detach this file from the style sheet without affecting my confirm page? (hope I said the correctly) I have been working through the file and restlyizing text but I can't seem to get all the text of my receipt to arrive in outlook as I want them to appear so I know I don't have it right.
