Search criteria not clearing onclick

Search criteria not clearing onclick

I have a form where I am sorting by column headers and I have three different search/filtering criteria. I have a button on my page that clears the search, but it's only working when I click the button twice. I'm sure a server behavior is out of order or in the wrong place, but I can't figure out what's not in the right place. I'm attaching the page. Thanks!

the clear session variable code is after the database search behaviors, you need to move the clear session variable code so it is before the dataassist search behavior.
