Problem with Download of Software Product

Thread began 3/25/2011 10:03 am by don423073 | Last modified 3/25/2011 4:04 pm by Jason Byrnes | 603 views | 1 replies |

Problem with Download of Software Product

A few weeks back I could not get PS 4 to download any software product. On advice from WA I commented out all occurrences of the following line in the HelperPHP.php file:

$folderPath = rootRelativeToFullFileURL($folderPath);

This seemed to work, but it required that the download button be clicked twice (double-clicked) before the software would download. I have users reporting that they cannot download the product. Unfortunately, the download counter decrements each time an unsuccessful attempt is made, and so the user only gets a few tries before he finds the secret to getting the download to start.

Is there any fix that would allow the software download to execute with just one simple click of the button, or is there some way to add a note to the download screen advising the user to double-click the download button?

Any help would be appreciated, as everything else seems to be working fine and this is the only troublesome problem that I have with PS 4. Thanks
