MYSQL not recognizing user and password in PS3

I am using PS3 and I recently had to make a change to the mysql user and password. I updated the new user and password in the Connections folder and the site is showing most pages fine. It's not until I try to view a product in the front end (Products_Detail.php) that I get an all white page with the following:

Access denied for user 'us7nick_****'@'******' (using password: YES)

I have quadruple checked the user and pass and even re-entered it a couple times. I still get the same message.

I suspected it might be a privilege thing and checked to be sure all privileges were enabled with the exception of EXECUTE. My host informed me that the only privilege that can't be enabled is EXECUTE and said it was a security issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this sits on a live active e-commerce site and needs to be remedied ASAP.

Thanks,

We just spoke over the phone... It appears one of your mysql tables you are using that you have added to the page doesn't have view access for even the root user. You'll have to look into this with your hosting provider to see if they can grant you access to the table.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Update to solution

My solution was to export the DB and manually change the DB_usernames associated to the tables inside the sql dump that were ill defined and then delete the database on the server and re set it up. I just re-imported the sql file and it fixed the problem.

The host was useless!

Thanks again for your help!
