Maximum Upload size 1024x768 px

Having had help sorting out one problem I had with HTML Editor 3, I now have a message telling me that I cannot upload an image larger than 1024x768 px....can I change that to unlimited???

the server the site is on has no upload restrictions on it, and it would be very useful to not have this restriction.

thanks,

Martin (again!)

the max width and height are set in the webassist/kfm/initialize.php file:

php:
$kfm->defaultSetting('max_image_upload_width', 1024);

$kfm->defaultSetting('max_image_upload_height', 768);

i dont think you can change it to unlimited, but you can increase the values there to something stupid large like:

php:
$kfm->defaultSetting('max_image_upload_width', 1024000);

$kfm->defaultSetting('max_image_upload_height', 768000);

Hi Jason,

is it possible, to set the size with a variable that I will set in my own backend? and that will be stored in a session?

sure, you would probably want to use isset so that a default is used if the session is not set;

if(!session_id()) session_start();
$kfm->defaultSetting('max_image_upload_width', ((isset($_SESSION['width']))?$_SESSION['width']:1024));
$kfm->defaultSetting('max_image_upload_height', ((isset($_SESSION['height']))?$_SESSION['height']:768));
