eCart4 Classic ASP - Shipping Quote Failed

I'm still using eCart4 Classic ASP (rolling of eyes)

I'm using PayPal PayFlo Pro

I get the following error.

Shipping Quote Failed - We're sorry - No Packages to Ship

At this point I'm wondering if I'm just failing UPS? What would be the likely failure point with this?

the no packages to ship error happens if you dont specify a weight for the items in the cart, make sure that all of your add to cart buttons have a weight specified.

Now I'm trying to get the shipping quotes and it's now jumping right to "PP_checkout_success.asp" and it's bypassing the confirm.

I'm not seeing where these quotes are pulled in.

the shipping quote should be calculated on the pp_confirm page when it loads.

if the initial loading of the pp_confirm page is sending you to the success page, it sounds like the process paypal Express Checkout transaction server behavior is set to execute on page load, it should be set to use the Current page submit trigger.

I suspect, without using PHP, I'm going to QUICKLY run into a brick wall here.

I'm just trying to see how far i can get with it.

eCart 4.5 in asp can be made to work.

I suspect the issue you are running into is caused by the triggers being used.

I've run into a few posts about eCart4 and ASP...

I understand this may not be an easy fix but what needs to be changed to make it work with the new PayFlow SDK?

Also, would I be right in assuming that UPS is also out of date and won't work?
