Curious

I just purchased, downloaded and installed this tool.

I setup a quick one page site, to understand this tool.

After I got it installed properly and launched the install (on localhost) it told me I can only install this once. On localhost, and once on a live site.

The it asked my for the serial number.

I thought that by using this tool, I was allowed to go "hog wild" and use it in all my projects, is this not the case?

My serial number will be added to all client sites?

Help me understand.

this is incorrect wording in the installation screen, CMS Builder can be added to as many sites as you like.

Should have read the error message, the clue is in the question!!

to resolve the problem go into the php.ini file and uncomment this entry ;extension=php_curl.dll (remove the preceding semicolon)

Once I did this all was well and I can now install to my hearts content.... sorry for being old and tired ;-))



I have attached a screenshot. For the the problem is not the incorrect wording but the fact that I get the following error message:

ERROR: PowerCMS cannot activate without cURL installed and functional on your PHP server. Please activate cURL before attempting to proceed.

This is displayed when no serial number is inserted but even when I put my PowerBuilder serial number it stays red.

The site I am installing to is a mature one which until now has not had any PHP on it.
