Don't want to have URLs in text area - to prevent spams!

Don't want to have URLs in text area - to prevent spams!

I have captcha validation set up on my contact form, but I still get spams.
Most of them have URL links that start with "http://~".
So I'm wondering if I can spry-validate a comment area (textarea) to exclude URL links.

Could anyone help me on how to set this up?

Thank you.

you could apply Alpha numeric server validation to the text area, this will allow only numbers and letters to be added and will fail on the : and // characters in the URL.
