Customizing PowerCMS Page

I was wondering how difficult it was to customize the PowerCMS pages generated by CMSBuilder. I add a lot of date driven content to my sites. Like news items, banner ads, etc... So I would need an away to add start and stop dates to the CMS. It appears that all the CMS generates is a textbox to add content. This seems to be a very helpful extension, but before spending this much money I just wanted to check to see if anyone has ever customized the PowerCMS generated content pages and added more fields for the site admin to update. Thanks!!

I cant see any reason why you couldnt create other Data Assist Pages to insert Data into a database then skin it with the CMS template and add links to those pages....

Ive not done it, but am thinking of doing it for another website
