how to add userID to table...

I'm user the PHP User Registration package to register and login users.

i have the following table:

1) User_tbl
2) Widgets_tbl

My problem is how do I capture the userID that is in the User_tbl and insert into the Widgets_tbl since I need to keep track of what "user" entered a record into the Widgets_tbl?

I'm assuming the userID is already known via the back-end code once a user logs in (since I'm also restricting access to this page using the SecurityAssist extension). I just don't know how to capture userID and insert into Widgets_tbl once the user "submits" the form on my Widgets.php page.

Any help greatly appreciated.

when the user logs in, the id is stored in session variable named:
UserID

go to the bindings panel, click the plus button, select session variable and name it UserID

in the insert record behavior, bind the user id column of the widgets table to the UserID session.
