Form Action vs. UE Trigger

Thread began 2/20/2011 11:53 am by davewosborn408554 | Last modified 2/22/2011 10:42 am by Jason Byrnes | 1222 views | 1 replies |

Form Action vs. UE Trigger

When I redirect to a page using a form action my emails do not trigger. If I remove the form action and instead let UE redirect to the action page after the emails trigger I lose my session variables, I think. Anyway, when I get to the page through UE it doesn't work but it does when I get there via form action=. What is the preferred method to do a form action= and UE for the same form? Thanks.

all for processing must occur on the forms action page.

If the universal Email behavior is on the same page with the form, then the forms action should be left blank so that it will post to itself.

You say:

UE redirect to the action page after the emails trigger I lose my session variables

where are you setting those sessions?

Can you send a copy of the UE page and the thank page so I can see the code.
