document relative vs root relative

document relative vs root relative

The CMS we use wants all URLs to appear as "/directory/filename" rather than "directory/filename" or "../filename". URLs without the leading "/" will fail about 80% of the time on these sites. Dreamweaver handles other links when we set the site definition to root relative, but the plugin doesn't honor that setting.

Any plans to add that functionality, so we son't have to edit the generated files?

Yes, we will support Site Relative links in the next dot release.

I have logged a bug in our bug base and we will include the fix in our next dot release.
