Ecart to Powercart

Is there an upgrade path from ecart to powercart because I paid for ecart around 6 months ago.So is there some kind of discount going to be available for ecart users.

There is no "PowerCart." I think you are referring to PowerStore which is a solution and not a tool. It is more like a functional example of what can be built with many different Webassist tools. I guess you could actually use it to sell stuff if your store requirements were consistent with the solution. What I find most useful isn't using it "out of the box" but helping me to find solutions/ideas for other sites. As far as the discounts, they currently have a sale which runs through the end of the month. I already had a couple of the other suites but I still bought it at full price and felt like I have gotten my value from it even without deploying it as "out of the box."
