ecart issue

ecart issue

I am having trouble getting ecart to work on my live server. I created the test environment on my pc using xampp and defined the sql database. All of the functionality of an add to cart button works in my test environment. Once I push the files to my live server the add to cart functionality only returns an empty cart. Can someone please give me direction on what I should be looking for on my live server?

the first place to start is to test the hosts session management functions.

sue the session test page from the following thread:

if the session test does not pass, it is most likely a problem with the session.save_path setting in the php.ini file, you will need to contact the host to have them correct the problem.
