Sorry for not responding quicker, but facebook comments should work as long as you have the application id and you have entered a unique id.

Are yo trying it on your localhost or your live server?

neilo

I found that my FB Comments wouldn't appear on my page if I entered a full url:

<fb:comments xid="http://www.mywebsite.com/index.php" numposts="10" width="425" publish_feed="true"></fb:comments>

but appeared OK if I used a document-relative path:

<fb:comments xid="index.php" numposts="10" width="425" publish_feed="true"></fb:comments>

doesnt work properly

Ive followed the instruction but this doesnt work properly. I usually get "the comment plugin requires...parameter" (Cant see the whole sentence because it tries to load and its obscured by a graphic).

Any ideas?

Edit:
Its working now.

Facebook Comments not working

Hi,

finally, I got the module to work well!

The solution was, I had to remove the other facebook modules from the code of my website (those that were appearing on the same page as the Facebook comment module) or disable/remove the modules(those that were appearing on the same page as the Facebook comment module) -I had a module showing some fans, Verge Like module and Add to facebook script. Once these were removed, Facebook comment is working ok. When the mentioned things were there, the Facebook comment module was appearing only ocassionally or was loading eternally.
