PowerGallery™ Installation Wizard

Have run wizard which has stopped at step 1 of 7

I don't understand why the Server Diagnostic Check error
"ERROR: All of the attributes below need to check out before you can proceed to the next step" has appeared?

The diagnostic returned 3 green ticks, so i'm none the wiser as to what to look for?

BTW, this occurred on my local and remote server

Any ideas please?

Thank you.

There is a similar post Here That may help with the problem (at least on the testing sever - also check with remote server)

You could also check that the PowerGallery folder on the remote server has sufficient read/write permissions.

Well this is the thing, step one i'm getting 3 green ticks indicating all is well.
So the error reported is a conflicting message.

If something was wrong, im assuming i'd get an alterrnative indicator like a red cross for example.

The rest of my site is heavy with WA php so i know i've good connections across my server and sql databases!

Hi, - yes you're right, but I don't think you would get an error showing at this stage if it was file permissions that was the problem.

Have you checked that the PG folder and subfolders have Read Write (755) access?

Hi, thanks for rour ealier responses.
Not having any luck.

Yes, all PG DIRs are 755

I wonder if its a php.ini setting thing???

Its a mystery. Maybe when the WA guys are back next week, they colud throw some more suggestions this way.

Yes, they will pin it down.

In the meantime, you could prepare to provide a link to your php settings, by creating a blank php file, and entering just:

<?php

phpinfo ();

?>

Save it as phpinfo.php and upload it to the root directory of your remote site. Providing a link to that may help WA to check settings.

It may be worth posting it as a new thread, as I may have 'fouled' this one!

Hope it works out,

try running the cURL test script form this post:
showpost.php?p=87177&postcount=7

and report back the results.

Response:

"Curl error: Failed to connect to 75.101.139.216: Permission denied"

Don't like the look of that!

How can i resolve please?

your host is blocking the cURL connection to the webassist.com server.

you will need to contact the host to have them remove the block and allow the cURL connection to the webassist.com servers.
