JS Errors when using Form Fields in logging

JS Errors when using Form Fields in logging

Problem:
Receiving error message “While executing applyServerBehavior in CreateEmailMessage_WA.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.”

Repeatable Situation:
1. Created simple form page with db logging using fields from the email (see first attachment – Pre Binding Change)
2. Cleared the DW cache.
3. Edited (the single Universal Email instance on this page) to log to a different db, again using fields from the email – again – works fine (see second attachment – Post Binding Change – Email Data).
4. Cleared the DW cache.
5. Made a second edit to the same Universal Email instance changing one of the logging fields to one of the form fields (see third attachment – Post Change 2 – Form Data)
6. Receive JS error listed above when attempting to “Finish”.

I seem to get these types of errors anytime I try to use any form fields, be they from the form itself or the WA Validated Entries fields.

Any help on what am I messing up here?

p.s. – I am using Build 23…the db column and form field have the same field type definitions so that should not be a problem.

Thank you for reporting this. I have been able to reproduce the issue and have logged this in our bugbase.

We will be releasing an update to form builder 2 in the next couple of weeks, this issue will be corrected in that update.

Any update on the potential ETA on the update that includes the fix for CreateEmailMessage_WA.htm, a JavaScript errors when attempting to bind form fields to a database?

thanks!

Form Toolkit

Does this functionality work with the Form Toolkit? Since we are in need of this funtionality, we are trying to get it one way or another. Please advise.

Thank you!

No this functionality is not included in form toolkit, at this point, you would need to modify the code manually after it is created to get this working.
