What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Thanks.

It looks like the "wasocial.css" style sheet is not being applied to your page.

The path to the style sheet does not look correct:
"../../../../Documents/Unnamed Site 4/webassist/social/wasocial.css"

This probably means that your Dreamweaver site was not defined properly when you inserted the Share buttons to your page.

Also, make sure you upload the webassist folder to your site when you upload the page you added the buttons to.

Hope that helps!

Hi Craig,

Sorry this is not working for you.

When i look at the <head> of your page, i am still seeing this:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="Documents/Unnamed Site 4/webassist/social/wasocial.css"
<script type="text/javascript" src="../../../../Documents/Unnamed Site 4/webassist/social/wasocial.js"

try changing these two lines to this....

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../webassist/social/wasocial.css"/>
<script type="text/javascript" src="../../../webassist/social/wasocial.js"></script>

I just got off the phone with my serve hosting company. The mysql is still 3.0. This would be the problem ... correct? I am going to need to change companies because the power cms would not work either.

Thanks for the help. Maybe this is why those others are having problems too.

Craig,

Social Media Toolkit does not require MySQL. The issue i posted above seems to solve your Share buttons issue.

However, for PowerCMS you would need to update your version of MySQL.

Out of loop

I seem to be out of the loop because I have had the flu for a week. When I started this thread I thought it was going to be simple but this simple social media toolbox seems to be more of a problem than what it is worth. It works fine on a simple page but using it in a template or anywhere else has become a problem. I can't but it up for anyone to see because it looks like crap and the site is live.

Hi Garry,

Please could you post a link to a page that is showing the problem?

Subdomains.

The social icons work like this:

website.com/subdomain.com

but not like this

subdomain.website.com

I tried changing the script in my web page but to no avail.

Any suggestions?
