css changes not happening

Hi

if I select a simple contact form, then go to customise then select form elements.

If I change the text area settings to small ie 252px and then press apply this is not refelected in the preview window or in the browser preview.

Neither are any other "size" changes shown but I can add or remove form elements

Any ideas why?

thanks

Ian

I cannot reproduce this using DW CS5 on Mac OS.

What design are you selecting?

What version of DW? What is your OS?

update

Hi Jason

windows 7 64bit with cs5

Ok in order:

create a new page from a template and save as testform.php

webassist... insert form

form details page/tab I select contact in the upper box and simple contact in the lower

select or rather leave the window at "new from blank"

select customise css

select form elements

select text area

under the size option change large to small

press update

the "window does not change" I've uploaded two screen dumps.

If I then preview in the browser window the size is still "large"

It's no big deal because I just went into the css and manually changed it,

Just a puzzle

cheers

Ian

this is not applying the style to the text box, it is just giving you a window to set the large or small dimensions.

to change the style that is applied to the text, click the Edit icon next to the Simple Contact select list.

Select Group 1 and click the edit button.

Select the Comments text area and change the size to small.
