Generated Menu Problem With IE8

I generated a menu using CSS Menu Writer 2.0, which I am putting into an existing, non-WebAssist generated .dwt template that I am using. The menu works fine in Firefox and Safari. However, it displays incomplete and non-functioning in IE8. I've read other threads about serious problems with other versions of IE, but not with IE8.

I'm hoping someone else has encountered this situation and can shed some light on how they resolved this particular problem. I'm trying to use the existing template and not having to generate a new template. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a url. It might be something else about the page causing an issue... we would need to look at it to spot the problem in that case.

Try adding a doctype tag to the top of the page:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Yes! That solved the problem. Thanks so much, Ray.
