Script causing data assist update to fail

Dear Webassist,

my data assist update is failing and giving an error that you can see below:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at CuraRomana Large official/curaromana/cura/Prep/go/checkbox.php:12) in CuraRomana Large official/curaromana/cura/Prep/go/checkbox.php on line 314

The thing that is causing the problem is a script I wrote to calculation a epoch date and time. If I take this script out it submit's correctly. Could you point me in the right direction of how to get data assist to work. I have attached the page.

Many thanks as always

the error probably has nothing to do with the script.
take a look at this link for info on fixing the 'headers already sent' error.

CraigR thanks for the link, I removed all the returns between the php tags but I am still getting the same warning, I think the problem is my script. But I can not see where the problem is occurring. Thanks for your suggestion.

if you're getting exactly the same error, check for spaces after the tags, not just line breaks.

if you cant find the issue, zip up the page and post it here

the issue is caused by the script.

look closely at the error message it reports the issue at line 12:
output started at CuraRomana Large official/curaromana/cura/Prep/go/checkbox.php:12

line 12 is an echo statement:
echo "<pre>";

any php script that you use echo in, must be after the <body> tag of the page and should not be included in the head.
