Can't get past checkout.php

Can't get past checkout.php

On 4/21 I asked what it would take to remove PayPal and incorporate Authorize.net.
I think now I have begun to understand what Ray was telling me.
That said, I have 2 questions.

FIRST:
When I now login, place something in my cart and complete the checkout page, the wheels turn and I'm returned to my cart with "Your cart is empty".
There is no recorded order history for these transactions but I do receive:

Subject: IntuHorses, Ltd Customer Receipt/Purchase Confirmation
and
Subject: Merchant Email Receipt

Both in "Test Mode" and both are complete and indicate that everything was A OK.

SECOND:
Would it be correct to assume that until I get past the first problem I won't get to USPS shipping?

This is the test site
INTUHORSES_dbtest/

Please take a look.

It looks like it is currently going to the checkout failure page when I try to complete a transaction.

Open that page in DW and in the Data Bindings panel click the plus button to add eCart->Local Checkout Response and aid the checkout response from authorize.net. Then you can drag and drop that value on the page so that you can see what the error is.

Did as you suggest, but…

Ray

Did as you suggest ( I think) which inserted the following at line 12 of checkout_failure.php:

<?php
require_once("WA_eCart/Adv_CO_Scripts/PP_ECO_Authorize_PHP.php");
?>

and also made some changes to AuthNet_PHP.php.

Uploaded both and submitting on the checkout page still returns me to cart.php with the single phrase on the page - "The cart is empty"

Mick

PS Clicking the plus button adds eCart->Local Checkout Response to the page but I'm afraid I don't understand - "Then you can drag and drop that value on the page so that you can see what the error is" as that value is already there.

If I might offer a suggestion, what I have done and found helpful was to make another site without the checkout.php page. Then use the wizard to generate a checkout page with Authorize. By comparing the two you could potentially speed your development.

I did this with paypal standard, getting something rudimentary working and slowly adding back the stuff from the powerstore.

I am just starting to modify PowerStore as well - and I have a question: So as is - the powerstore site that they provide only works with Paypal? So - how do I create another checkout page with Authorize? Using the checkout wizard from eCart?

Will try asap.

In the authorize.net case you would probably only have to replace the local checkout server behavior in the powerstore with the localcheckout from the created sample.

Paypal standard is actually more difficult since their systems are less similar.

So are you saying we should create a site or checkout page for Authorize net using eCart and copy those server behaviors (how would we do that?) and then go to the powerstore site and replace those behaviors from the one we just made (the "authorize test" site)?

I'm saying run the checkout wizard for authorize.net you don't need to create the whole site. Then copy and paste the code from that one server behavior.

eWay and SecurePay

Hi Guys,
I'm in a similar boat as I need to create a site with a link to eWay and later SecurePay. I've tried a new PowerStore site without the checkout page and then used eCart to create the new checkout and confirm pages for eWay (not sure what to do about securepay yet). It appears to work however the login and shipping script aren't there and only the billing and paypal express. Any clues? Do you have an eWay page that we could alter the ID on?
Thanks, Mark.
