Single Product Detail Page Appearance

On the Single Product Detail Page under the subheading I place Product Name and Short Description. When one insert the short description it is in one line, I was wondering how can I have the short description appearing in 4 lines? Like,

Food For Health
Vegetarian Emergency Food Kit
275 Servings
Weather Proof Bucket

The way I have been able to insert it is this way:
Food For Health Vegetarian Emergency Food Kit, 275 Servings, Weather Proof Bucket

Also, how can I extend the lenght of the long description field? How many characters or lines is the long description field and how to extend it?

Thanks for your help.

Serge

Use an HTML Editor Instance for the short description, when entering the short description, hold shift+enter to insert a <bf> tag to force the line break.

The length for the long description is defined in the database itself. you could change the data type tp a text or long text data type.
