Endless Log In Issue

I am having an issue with log in. I created (not working yet) a download page which requires to be logged in. When you log in, it takes you to your profile page, at the bottom I have put a "download" link to take you to the page, however it takes you back to the log in page, however the second time, the log in fails.

I am attaching the download, login and profile files.

Thank you

Gary

can you verify that the helpergrouprules_php.php file was uploaded to the server? Try deleting it from the server, then re uploading it.

The file was on the server, I deleted and reloaded. The both files were modified on the same day.

I briefly had it working, but was getting the error that headers had already been sent. I was unable to see any cause for that. I had commented something out, put it back in and the same problem is there, login ok, profile ok, back to login, no work.

Again I am attached the login/profile/download_center.

This is frustrating!

Thank you for all your help.

to trouble shoot, add the following code on the login page after the body tag:

php:
<pre><?php
if(!session_id()) session_start();
var_dump($_SESSION);
?></pre>

post back the results after trying a test through.

This is the message when I first open the login page

<pre>array(0) {
}
</pre>

There is no message on profile page, however when I am taken back to the second log-in, I get this message,

<pre>array(1) {
["cust_id"]=>
string(1) "1"
}
</pre>
