HTML Editor 3.0 error

I have installed form builder and I am using html editor 2. but when I installed HTML 3.0 with instruction for form builder release, I am getting the following error.

I am afraid that I have just installed and activated html 3.0. but if it is better I can uninstall form builder and install html 3.0, so later I can install form builder 2. but what if I selection option to replace all with previously install new files from HTML editor 3.0 as this is latest product, but If I say NO, I have to say hundreds NOs to install old product.

Thank you

Did you install the Form Builder 2 HTML Editor Compatibility release? It should be a separate download on our web site in your download center.

You should be able to completely uninstall and remove Form Builder and HTML Editor... then install the Form Builder update with html editor 3 compatibility and then install HTML Editor 3.

Try following those steps and if you still have issues we'll open a support incident and have someone call you and debug this with you over the phone.

Re: HTML Editor 3.0 error

Thanks Ray,
What I did was I downloaded the form builder release and updated the installed form builder with compatibility release, and after I installed HTML Editor 3. I did not uninstall form builder 2.0 before installing the compatibility release.

Can I now uninstall both form builder and html editor, to install fresh copy of build release of form builder, and after that to install HTML Editor 3.0?

Please advise me and then I will try and and let you know.

Thanks again

Yes, completely uninistall and remove both.

Then install the FB2 compatability release and finally install HTML Editor 3 and it should all work.

I am getting error with HTML Editor

Hello Ray,
I have completely uninstalled both form builder and html editor and installed new release and it works fine. But now I am having a new error, now when I goto add a record it is not adding, and do the update, then the content which I added with old html is gone.

I am not getting any chance to select the record set field like old one, but not really true, I can choose it but it is not working as the way it should work.

I also noticed the image editing and upload is changed, previously I got the option to copy from url too, but now it is now there.

I have noticed when I select the upload directory, it did not the image when I browse from image editor, then I have to type ../ before the image location.

Thank you and I believed the old editor is my choice for the time being and I can update it later time when things are working fine with current editor.

If you are up for it I would like to investigate this issue with you in a screen sharing session to make sure that we are able to correct any issues you might be running into.

I have tried calling the phone number we have on file, but it has been busy. I'll continue to try.

What should I do to correct the issue?

Ray.. Thanks for trying to call me, and yes may be my phone is busy as usual.

I would like to ask your advise to correct these issues... we are seeing lot of comments and errors on the release, and I am really expecting to fix these errors.

I am more than happy to use old edition for a while, but as you knew I have only one issue with old edition which is showing html style tags in normal view and when we view source, it worsen when I tried it asian right to left language.

Thank you

We are working on an update now, but the best way to ensure that we fix all of the problems you are experiencing is to do a screen sharing session so that we can debug and fully understand the problems and add it to our tests to make sure it is fixed.

We will try to have an engineer call you to make sure any issues you are experiencing are logged and fixed.
