This is my error
Resolved thanks!
Hello Russell,
I believe you need to redo the Globals and localhost.php files. I noticed that your file paths do not contain the name of your CSM folder (usually CSM100 or the like):
/home4/bigmidge/public_html/cheapdaterva/dining.php
somewhere in that path you need to have referenced your CSM folder, like this:
/home4/bigmidge/public_html/cheapdaterva/CSM100/Connections/localhost.php
Also, in your Globals file, your host name probably isn't localhost unless, of course, you are testing locally.
Hopefully that helps!
Jon
Thanks. I had renamed the CMS folder "update" so it's
/home4/bigmidge/public_html/cheapdaterva/update/Connections/localhost.php
______
But the second part of your response: I am not testing locally, so maybe that's the problem.
Also Am I supposed to have 2 "Connections" folders? I have one in the root and one of course here:
/home4/bigmidge/public_html/cheapdaterva/update/Connections/localhost.php
here's the path in the WA_Globals.php file :
$WAGLOBAL_remoteRoot = "/update/"; //relative path to your PowerCMS files on your remote server.
So not local, then you need to change: $hostname_CheapDateRVA = "localhost"; in your Connections file to the actual site mysql address, something like mysql345.hostname.com
As for the Globals, check the $WAGLOBAL_Root_URL = "http://sitename.com/update
And yes, you may end up with a couple of different connections depending on the number of solutions and/or your own connections you've made.
