multiple page insert record

I would like to break up the length of my input form across three pages. The problem seems to be there is no ID being passed to the next page.

could someone suggest a bit of code to make that happen?

On page 2 and three i was acutully using update instead of insert, but I can see it isnt seeing the correct ID for the new record.
