Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link

I am receiving this error message when trying to connect to a database.

Warning: mysql_select_db(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/content/90/7253390/html/WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php on line 14

Same error for line 20.

Those lines are (14)

mysql_select_db($WA_Auth_Parameter["database"], $WA_Auth_Parameter["connection"]);
$WA_Auth_loginSQL = "SELECT `".implode('`,`', $WA_Auth_Parameter["sessionColumns"])."` FROM `".$WA_Auth_Parameter["tableName"]."` WHERE ";

And (20)

$WA_Auth_RS = mysql_query($WA_Auth_loginSQL, $WA_Auth_Parameter["connection"]) or die(mysql_error());

It is a little perplexing in that I have another site up and the code is the same and I have no connection problems.

Anyone be able to point me to my problem?

Thank you

Gary

the connection file on your page is:

<?php require_once('Connections/rr.php');?>

but the login code is looking for a connection named login.php

Thank your for your quick reply, however there is no login.php on that page. There is

"connection" => $login,

Is that what you are referring to?

Thanks again.

yes, that is the problem.

the connection file will create a variable based on the name of the file.

the Connections/rr.php file creates a variable named $rr

the Connections/login.php would create the variable named $login

the authenticate user code was created using the Connections/login.php connection file, but that connection is not present on the page.
