PS4.01 not finding images or css
Just installed PS4.01 in a sub-directory and the install went fine.
However when viewing the site or the admin the images are all broken and none of the css is employed.
Any thoughts?

when i try to access the css directly:
crazy_styles.css
i get the following error:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /store/webassist/themes/Crazy/css/crazy_styles.css on this server.
double check the permissions on the store webassist/ directory, it looks like the need to be elevated to allow the css to load.
What should they be? And should I do a recursive change on the directory and all its contents?
Currently
store 2775
webassist 2777
themes 2750
Crazy 2750
css 2750
crazy_styles.css 0640
the important numbers in the permissions are the last three, they set the permissions level for "Owner, User, Everyone"
777 = Read, Write, Execute for all 3 user levels
775 = Read, Write, Execute For Owner and User. Read and Execute for everyone.
750 = Read, Write, Execute for Owner, Read, Execute for User, None for everyone.
640 = Read, Write for Owner. Read for User, None for everyone
the problem is the 640 and 750 permissions. the everyone user needs to have at least read permissions. 744 or 766 would do the trick.
Thanks Jason
Will do.
What does the first number refer to in the examples I included?
Mick
PS.
cms is 764
file manipulation, form validations, framework, globals and plugins are all 760. Should those be changed as well?
To be honest, I'm not really sure. I think they are only relevant in Unix systems and refer to how permission inheritance is handled, but i dont have any detailed info on it.
Thanks
Still not working.
Should everything have read privileges?
Or what should not?
Mick
yes, at the very least everything should have read privileges for the Owner, Group and every one users.
OK will do.
PS
It is Unix and breaks down as follows…
the owner user
the owner group
others
all users
Mick
Everything now has read permissions (I think) and still no go.
