Help with eCart Object

This is what happens. I click on
Insert >> Webassist >> ecart >> ecart Object
a window pops up that has a button that says "Add"
I click on "Add"
I set up the ecart object and click "Ok"

Then I click...
Insert >> WebAssist >> eCart >> then anything other than "eCart Object"
...it says that I have no object carts available for this site.

What am I doing wrong?

have you set up your site in Dreamweaver correctly?

See our learning resources page for details on setting up your Dreamweaver site for dynamic development:
resources.php

after setting up your site, create a new php page, save it to the site and have that page open when creating your eCart Object.

Then when adding the Add to cart button make sure to have a php page open as well.
