Question about the technique behind......

Hi, Can we compare the technique behind Framework Builder with the PHP includes technique or is there a essential difference?
Thanks! David

Personally, I havent used the ADDT PHP Includes before.

The basic concept behind both extensions is the same. Someone from the community who has used both would be able to better offer opinions on the techniques used.

As a former member of Team InterAKT and ADDT even I have to admit the WebAssist Includes is better than the ADDT Includes. And the ADDT Includes were awesome.

If Includes is your thing, as it is for me, you will not be disappointed with Framwework.

Framework Builder is a good start point to repleace MX (or ADDT) Includes

... but remember that ADDT is a extensions suite and you have the possibility with it to create advanced websites (and more professional than DataAssist), Framework Builder is only a single extension and have a big issue with php memory allocation.

also, respect to ADDT includes, Framework Builder not have the possibility to insert meta tag description and keywords, only meta tag title

Framework builder automatically inserts meta descriptions and keywords. It actually don't have an interface option to not include them, like it does title.

I have activated the checkbox "Use Plug-in Title for page title" but meta tag description and keyword not change

Do you have a sample page I can look at?

The plugin will automatically add all header information from the plugin to the header of the page... this includes all meta tags and scripts.

Is it possible you already have a meta tag on that page and they are repeated? Do you have head tag with meta tags in your plugin?

Ok, I hadn't seen meta tag before </head> tag. Now I have two meta tag description and keywords.

But which is the correct way to use "Use Plug-in Title for page title"?
Remove meta tag keywords and description in the "mother" page even if are empty?

In the "mother page" I have three:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
Is necessary remove above meta tag in all the pages includes?

You should remove the meta tags that you don't want to use. In this case probably from the mother page since you want to use the meta tags from the plugin pages instead.

You could also remove the meta tags from the plugin pages and use the mother page's if you would prefer.
